Glass-door mode to enjoy the attractive view of the flames – the door is opened in a simple movement to reveal the fire crackling, blazing and giving off generous heat. The closed-door mode elegantly conceals a fire operating at a lower rate or which has gone out. Changing the mode of operation is extremely easy.
Simply move the door required in front of the stove opening by rotating the drum.
This manoeuvre takes just a few seconds.


Impressive combustion and high efficiency make the Stûv 30-in an ideal wood-heating solution which can be used as a main or supplementary source of heating or simply for enjoyment.
Why ?
The Stûv 30-in’s combustion burns fuel in the best possible way in order to convert chemical energy into heat and to minimize the pollution emitted. Maximum distribution of useful heat to the building when you need it most is achieved by convection and radiation.
Convection enables heat transfer thanks to the reheating and circulation of the air; radiation enables heat transfer from the system’s hot walls to the area directly surrounding it.
A heating surface will be even more effective if the wall temperature is high.
A large proportion of the combustion heat produced is contained in the combustion gases.
The Stûv 30-in is designed in such a way that the combustion gases provide the room with as much heat as possible.
The quantity of unused heat escaping outside is therefore very low and the efficiency of the system increases.
The Stûv 30-in is particularly well suited to large spaces and homes over xx years old.

Barbecues on a wood fire all year around!

To enable you to enjoy the atmosphere of summer barbecues throughout the year, Stûv has developed an innovative accessory which allows you to entertain your guests around your stove.


In contrast to traditional barbecues, with the Stûv grill, the food is not placed above embers but in front of the flames.  Food is cooked by heat radiated from the stove and there is no risk of it being charred by drops of fat which flame up when they drop on the embers.

Fast :

The food cooks quickly. Red meat can be quickly cooked, for example. You don’t have to wait for embers to form The grill is easily fitted to the stove (even when lit).

No cooking odours :

The draw from the chimney sucks up cooking odours.  They are not dispersed around the interior of your house.

Clean : The drip tray prevents any cooking fat from falling onto the ground.
